I'm presently not doing any drilling as I'm pretty much retired, I have however helped some buddies get into the trade with gas/oil. Your need big boy size equipment as pipelines run from 8"--60"...bores are rivers, interstate highway, rough terrain. Need pumpers, vac's, dewatering, etc. If your interested and have the proper equipment, expericenc, insurance, qulifications, crews, working around the clock when required, everything and I mean everything is on hands quality control inspected-big time!
Those doing the work in Utica: Minnesota Limited LLC, Piedmont Ntrl Gas, Duke Energy, Shell Pipeline, BP Pipeline..these are just a small sample of the owners. If you been doing cable bore....don't even think about this type of work.
