Well said. I think the problem is that these young techs are missing the big picture by relying on on line tools totally. You only learn how everything comes together by using your meter and sweeping runs both fwd and return. The irony of it all is when one of these techs gets sent to an old 330mhz system stretched out to 440mhz with digital channels at the end of the bandwidth they are essentially lost. These systems have no return, online tools etc. Thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t really looking for answers just frustrated by the way things are done these days. It used to be you worked your way up and learned from the experienced techs but now there’s no need for that with computers. They get all their answers that way and have no time to listen!!
