Rocky Mt was a competitor of my company back in the 80's, linemen would float back and forth. One told me of a story about Rocky Mt doing some work for a TCI top offical in Denver on his private ranch, they ran strand instead of barb wire or tensile wire to keep his horses/cows/?? what ever he had in the field.   When they DE a run, they hook it to car hood springs to keep tension on the run.  Did miles of it, treated it just like a regular job until they completed his whole ranch.

Hey...some times you gotta do things to keep the work flowing.
