Stay with fiber, there is tons of fiber opportunities out there in Cable Land, but Tele Co's need crews as with the Rural Broadband projects going on. It's best to just pick the region/area you want to work and live in. Running around the country won't get you anywhere. I once did an upgrade in Nashville back in 95, every year they had about 50 mile of new build going on, so one of my crews quit, stayed there and is still there working today.As for pricing, listen up...it has not change much since you last did it.
