Buffalo is correct, the SDA 5000, DSAM 6300 and 1Xpert will all work with the SDA 5500 transmitter. It is all a matter of what the MSO wants for documentation. If they are just doing a rough balance to get it up and running, then any meter that can do forward levels and a DOCSIS check will work.
