I've mounted more than a few power supplies in buildings and have always run a ground even if they are on a 3 prong grounded outlet. I've got over 600 nodes mounted inside buildings and we require them to be grounded, the fiber enclosures are grounded, EOL's are grounded, all active devices are grounded, a power supply is no deferent. Only takes a little more time to do and no one can come back later and say it's not grounded. I know if I was QCing a job and there wasn't a ground I'd gig it.
