Re: Cable permitting

If your just entering the cable/fiber trade and working for a cable MSO...most if not all required permits have already been submitted.  Now if your building new plant....your have to get pole permits for every utility pole you contact, railroad, highway, Interstate, waterway crossings, NESC attachments for all pole contacts, maybe some right of ways.  There is no book learning, just hit the field and get busy with OJT..on the job training under a professional experienced engineer or a grunt who has been in the trade for "Years"
