I don't climb like I use too, mainly because 90% of my job doesn't require me to go up a pole any more. But every now and then I still do and these people who call themselves linemen around here act like they never seen a set of gaffs, let alone see anyone strap on a set and go up a pole. First time my boss saw me climb up a pole I thought he was going to have a heart attack. But hell he's never been up in a bucket, strictly a paper pusher. But it's a different age, a lot of the young ones have a totally different work ethic than we were raised with. I've learned to just not pay it any mind anymore. I do my job to the best of my ability, work rings around the other people I work with, and I take pride in knowing when the powers that be want something done on time and done right I'm the one they come to.
