Separately: Interesting to learn of this. Here on coast, 90 miles north of los angeles, they continue to raise charges for our (CATV to home) service. This with an annoying decrease in quality/number of cable channels and over all Cable TV service. Seems to me, for same money one year ago, we were getting more channels and the channels were higher quality IMO.
Plus, recently introduced a new "small box" which is now necessary for subscribers to view basic, Cable TV, service where previously no box was required. My guess is, they r scrambling to make more revenue from their cable TV operation, while at same time facing decreasing TV subscribers with ever increasing competition and operating cost. cheers. sadelcord.com
