This is at least the 4th incident in NY in as many months. Pulling strand up into primarys. Untrained, inexperienced help. it was just a matter of time before this happened, thankfully no other innocent by stander or tech was killed.
No disrespect to this hand ... but no one is going to watch your back out there... do it your selves. There are hundreds of know nothings up here tieing into plant that you are working on going a different direction. It's up to you to make sure your crews are doing it the proper way and protecting your selves form the ones that know nothing.
One thing that has come out of this that will help get rid of these guys is it has now forced these companies to become compliant with OSHA standards... or no workie for you.
