I worked in Dunn Erwin NC as a splicer in 1966 while employed with Jerrold Electronics, , we overlashed coax to local (GTE-?)telephone company copper system. I had to teach tel co techs how to splice coax and work with the new Jerrold Amps. They color coded (Ty Wrap) each run coming out of the Amp so when they were out in field on calls, they would now where to start looking.. It was kind of Idiot Proof specs.
As for you being a contractor with Wiseconnect....they can not offer benefits to contractors, if your getting such benefits....your a damn employee.
