Warning to all!!!
4 men drove to that kentucky job being advertised by this guy. The workers were from oregon, texas, mississippi, florida...we all stayed at the same extended stay.
called us individually after responding to his ad.
agreed to pay us w-2 over the phone and promised to email onboarding package to us right away.
got no emails during that weekend iether.
after one week of working there with the client our phone calls and texts went unanswered by tatecon.
client is a government entity and began to ask a lot of questions.
were not vetted correctly by tatecon llc.
No drug testing was done by tatecon llc, no background checks were done to us, no I-9 forms were sent by him to verify if we were legally allowed to work in the USA...No W-4 form for employee witholdings was sent...no direct deposit form was sent from him so we could tell him how we wanted to get paid...
This wanted us to download an app called VEEMO or some crap that takes 3-4 additional days to clear and get your money...what a joke!
sent there to work as w-2 emplyees at $35 per hour plus $100 a day per diem everyday regardless if you worked or not that day.and later switched information that we are to invoice him if we wanted to get paid. no per diem on days not worked like weekends. No overtime available... no miles compensation, only $5 an hour extra for using your vehicle to drive all over Kentucky State fielding poles doing make ready and video recording poles. so you actually only get $30 an hour.
switched the pay period he promised of every two weeks further out to delay paying us. His claims are that he doesn't get paid till 45 days out...not my freaking problem dude.
we found out that he's sub contracting like three tiers down and we are at the very bottom of the feeding frenzy.
he still owes each of us a check. Mines is about $1000 dollars
You have been warned.
we did try to be professional with him and we were very patiently waiting for a lot of our questions to be answered.
the dude began cursing at us and calling us derogatory names becuse we were being rightfully too pushy and demanding answers after a week of run arounds... beating round the bush...
if he would have just do business the right way and legally... none of this would have happened
Tatecon posting jobs again while owing us money
