There are numerous ways to become a sub. Ads on Cabl.com is a great way as there are numerous ads looking for subs listed already. Building relationships with peoples a great way because it helps to weed out the primes that you don't want to work for. Asking about primes on here will always get you some opinions about most companies.
Good luck with your adventures and make sure if you are looking at a place to go to ALWAYS use your gut! If it doesn't feel right it probably isn't! Don't let someone tell you that "we don't enforce that part of the contract anyways" because that will be the first thing you will get bit with!!
