I'm in Puerto Rico right now and all I have to say is that fiber core is a great company , paychecks and per diem on time , a little delay in getting trucks here but understandable after a category 5 hurricane the port is very busy. Ps splicing not recommended to any one, they don't pay. Hotels are expensive but once you are designated to an area you can use the airB&B and find homes or apartments and split with other techs. They are not sending people back for their skin color , that ignorant is probably one of the guys that came here saying he had experience and showed up with a Chinese single fusion to splice ribbon. If you have experience and you have the right equipment you will be making good money more than $1000 a day . Good luck , be honest be humble.
