I have no idea if people are getting paid or not. The cost of hotels I was told is very expensive, in the 130-200 a day range......Again, I'm not there and I have clue what each contractors living arrangements are. I'm sure there are several by now. I do know the roads are torn up real bad and alot of times a 4WD is necessary......Myself, I'm waiting, watching and listening to make an informed decision and not let the promises of riches phase me...everybody's situation is different.........do some research, ask some questions, then make a decision is my advice....good luck...I am sure things are different if you are a contractor or going as an employee
