Pay Issue, how to resolve?

I worked for a company in Myrtle Beach under an agreement that they could retain my last two paychecks for up to one year to cover any damages that I may have created during my contract period. They ended up retaining my last three paychecks and now, after almost two years will not respond to my calls and emails. They are based in Winter Springs, FL and I am still in Myrtle Beach, SC. What recourse do I have to recover my pay? My quality of work was excellent and there were no customer claims against me. I left the company on good terms and with a full two week notice.
