Re: Truck allowance

Back in the day it was always 1/3 for the guy, 1/3 for the truck and 1/3 for the prime. Trick is now finding a prime honest enough to do that. But basically whatever peice rate you were getting out of his truck it should be double that out of yours, you will have to carry liability insurance, pay workmans comp on you and your guys and be a 1099 subcontractor. That's the way it usually works.
