that would depend on the size of the bundle! yes you can flip them upside down and they still spin, not feasable for a 48f on new strand. Look at maint. wire change out, and transfer time from left to right. I have seen atleast 4 guy in the tv industry throw them from the bucket,SMASH! I don't remember the name of the red and silver ones but I have seen them thrown from the bucket by catv guys. They work nice on small bundles. I lahed 6800' in trees and the catv guy running the crew couldn't get 20' from the pole with out the wire breaking.
