Change is not always a good thing. With all this access we have today, as you said, then why make a change, just leave things as they are. It won't create more competition when you have one media outlet in your area controlling the TV Stations and local newspaper. Back around 1980 my company met with the Ministry of Broadcasting for the Bahamma's we strand mapped and design engineered the entire area. As I was walking around the area, most did not even have TV's. The Ministry/Gov wanted to control what the people viewed, looks to me with a New FCC ruling, that is where the US is heading.
