FCC changing the rules

Under new FCC leadership...a 42 yr old ban is being erased to now allow TV-Radio-Newspapers to merge-buy out-consolidate ownership.  Example is the pending Sinclair Broadcasting Group aquiring Tribune Media Co for $3.9 "Billion".  So your be seeing more local TV companies taking over the local newspapers.  Is this creating competition for the general public or is it creating Mega Companies and more monoplies live when years ago FCC broke up Ma Bell Telephone co into 5 regionals.   Just saying: MicroMan...it's coming to your home town.
