Nope, those days are gone. This is the day that the young technicians have laptops and I pads and chase problems that the computer points out. Chase noise but don't check levels as you go. Haha. All compartmentalized tasks now. As for taking advice from experienced people that built and activated systems they don't need that. I remember when I started learning. I would not open my mouth around guys that have been around cause you learn from those that have done things for a minute. Give em a bucket truck laptop and software and they are all pros in a few months. Oh well the good old days are gone. Merle Haggard had it right when he sang. Wish I enjoyed what makes my living. I used to though!!!
