To me it’s not a misunderstanding when in an email and in the contract the payment terms are a week for storm damage and 15 for regular routine work.
Storm damage is not regular routine work. But, will see how this plays out. At least they have answered their phones and responded to my texts about this. However, my tolerance for the excuses are running out
