I finally have the chance to get into business for myself. By that I mean, I have worked for the same guy doing 1099 fiber splicing for almost 9 years. He is set to retire and has always maintained that he would be willing to help me out with a full rig of equipment(truck&trailer, splicer, etc) once he decided to hang up his boots.
I have contacts that I believe will lead to gaining work for myself. What im searching for is some information regarding insurance and cost.
To start, it would only be me and possibly a ground hand, but most likely just me.
I'm also aware that some jobs will require more insurance than others, but if anyone could shed some light on my basic needs and what type of cost im looking at in regards to all the insurances and such that I would need, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks guys!
