The BLS..Bureau of Labor says that 240 fatalities has resulted from falling objects or equipment in the USA. This accounted for roughly 5% of all work place fatalities. In 2015 there were 42,400 incidents of falling or dropped objects resulting in a medially reported accident.
Maybe a falling nut-bolt-tool-objects from 25 ft only causes minor injury.... but from 300 ft, according to the wind industry, even a small object falling from 300 ft will generate an impact of 300 pounds.
