Re: People need to slow down.

You are correct LM, anytime you close a lane, you are required to provide a safe passage for the traffic. We all know that not everyone is going to comply, but it takes the liability of yourself. I always did it for my safety first, then others.

Like you said, they seem totaly oblivious to all the carnage, even refusing to accept any responsibility. That really is not there fault, as to me it seems obvious their managers accept this type of behavior all in the name of looking good to their manager.  Poor training in safety. The one guy even gives wrong information about the amount of cones required, not to mention it is apperant there are no warning signs. Poor training lays solely with their managers.

This is a good example to remind everyone, we are no good to our familys if we are dead or to mamed to work.
