I was the only 1099 guy here with 10 total techs working. They were doing getting like $1.34 a point and I was pulling $2.00. During the college rush it was a good deal, nice tight routes. Now I get 4 jobs in 3 different towns and I'm paying my own fuel. Too much time driving and "waiting for work", not enough time working. Once they slowed down and started same day installs it went to complete shit.
Hell I think I'm pretty much the dream employee, all I want to do is work all day. But when you have me drive 45 minutes one way, then they might not be home or have to reschedule, and I'm the one paying for it, no thanks.
