We lost our Son Justin Holmes Oct. 25th..his bucket somehow became energized as his grunt backed up the truck so he could cut some more limbs from the pole line! He was nearing 30 yrs.old. I have no words to describe this pain! ALL Company owners need to STOP this practice of having YOUR LINEMAN cut the damn trees away from the lines so they can pull strand and cable through!! Its a crying damn shame that cutting corners and saving a few bucks is worth MY sons LIFE or anyone elses Son, Husband or Father! The job is dangerous enough without Company owners risking the lives of these guys! I KNOW they'll just DO IT to get the damn job done..but just STOP! If the owner can't get professional tree cutters out ahead of you..DONT RISK it! The job will be there another day...YOU May Not! R I.P Bubba...we all lived you...my son!
