Ok so it was 895 million. Just a drop in the bucket I suppose, they apparently don't mind loosing it. They always seem to have one or more of those ventures payoff. I don't see where the fiber deal will ever pay its self off. Most places I have worked for will not build unless it's less than $800-$1000 per living unit passed, unless it's government subsidized. The last Google work we did was almost $7500 per living unit, we did that for over a year. Hard to say what the real cost was with material, permits, whatever the primes cut was, and all the other expenses. Just doesn't seem like a sound business model, at that cost any way. $100-150 a month it will take a long time to get that money back.
