Re: where have all the coax splicers gone

Did nine years for TWC. They decided to do a standard nationwide contract in the middle of 2012. When I got the new Prime contract I almost fell off of my chair. The idiots cut my splicing prices. Told my division ( nice decent bunch of guys ) that I had to have a significant bump in prices to deal with the added bullshit they wanted me to do. The cut in pay combined with them wanting me to start doing night work made me decide to walk. Threw the contract they FEDEXed me into the garbage, sold my eqpt, and politely said no thanks. Been out ever since, and have not even looked for another splicing gig. This is only the second time I have been on the Bar in the last year !!
