John William Dunn, III
April 21, 1954 - August 21, 2016
John William Dunn, III, 62, Altoona, passed away early Sunday morning at his home.
He was born in San Antonio, TX, a son of the late John W., Sr., and Dorothy Loraine (Trammel) Dunn. He married Tammy Lynn Wood on September 3, 2005 in Altoona.
In addition to his wife of 11 years, Tammy, he is survived by five children: Johnny C. Dunn, Jeffrey Dunn, Jennifer Durbin, Nathan Culbertson, and Nicole Wilkinson; ten grandchildren; two sisters: Nancy Terranova and Debbie Kain; a brother, Richard Dunn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a high school graduate and served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1976.
He was of the Baptist faith and worked for KLLM as a truck driver.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 3 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, August, 27, 2016 at The First Baptist Church of Altoona, 1209 17th Street, Altoona, PA 16601. Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating. x
