Its called "the Food Chain" . Primes make the most, subs working for the Prime get a cut, subs working for the sub of the prime get even less and so on until you have the hacks at bottom of the food chain. But Cutter has it right you need that clause in your contract with the prime and your subs or anybody can jump ship without loyality to you.
