Listen Up...if you have been in this trade for any length of time, you would already know what "You" are capable of producing in an 8 hour day. Hourly is for those who want a fixed income..come rain or shine. Piece work is for those who want to get out early, stay all day and make some bucks doing quality work in a safe manner.
The future of this industry is Fiber all the way to the house, forget the history of coax, those days are gone forever. No more fiber to the node feeding coax or copper the last mile..it's all about fiber.
I started buildig fiber long haul networking back in 1981..it's come full circle now to the end user, so toss out all your coax tools and get with the times.
Just reading your post....better stick to hourly or better yet...get on salary w/bonus or better yet....find another trade, the days of top of the pole to the bottom of hole experience is Gone !!!! Just be safe in all you do............."MicroMan"
