Last I checked Tim was CEO of Ansco which is a holding company of Dycom, I know Steve is head dawg with Dycom as with Tim. I know the whole story, been there and done it back in mid 90's... But does it really matter who is at the top or at the bottom, the best thing that Dycom has to offer a worker....his pay check every week.
You can't just grow a company by buying up mom and pop companies, just to please the investors. Dycom-Mastec all feed at the same investor's table !!!..........."MicroMan"
