In the case of running fiber in the countryside trust me the cost of the splice is the least of your worries.  We are currently doing a fiber project in a subdivision where the average run is 60 to 90 feet and our current cost is almost $800 including fiber conduit placement wall box and node .  You have to take a look at the footage from the roadside to the side of the house then figure out what your average cost for placing conduit in your market is going to be . Then add in the cost of the conduit the fiber the labor to pull the fiber labor to put the box on the side of the house and whatever profit you want to make
