This is the cable industry; and it should come as no great suprise that like all businesses, you will have feast and famines. The right thing to do is wait to see where the money lands first, and try to figure out how you can be there to collect the most of it. Just like subs, primes and MSO's you will always have the great and the ugly. The petty thieves, true felons and con artists. But with any of reputation worth having, business is business, and we all have to make buck at someone's expense. Just remember what comes around in the circle of this industry goes around, just as in the circle of life.
The book don't read do unto others before they to you, it reads do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Turn the other cheek for the two you have, then walk away with a lesson learned. Teach those you come into contact with the right way; teach them to learn where the snakes are and how to stay clear of them; and watch out for each other just like the family this industry used to be.....
