Here are a few things I have found.
Leasing............IF you can verify income way in excess of the monthly lease payment this is a good way to go. You get a new vehicle.....no breakdowns...you NEED usership!
Buying a new rig........More capital intensive than Leasing...you will beat the piss out of this rig & it will continue to go down in value as you maintain it. IF you pay cash you cannot write off the purchase your first year....discover what depreciation means.
Buying an old burner. .........ALL expenses are tax deductions the year you make them. Appearances will be important but IF you only have limited start up money.....do not spend all your cash on initial purchase.
DOING A VEHICLE LEASE TO BUY...........read the fine print......things fall in on ya IF work drops off.
