Acooring to wage and labor laws, FLSA, you cross over from your people being indepentent contractors to W2 Employee status, especially if you require your people to show up for work on a designated schedule.....Meaning you have control on that individaul(s) during their workday...
Just a thought....Being audied three years into my first business, paying per diem for food and travel, and such, meant ater three years of employment, all those " 1099 " went to employee status and it cost me around $ 106,000, you do not want to go there......
