Could also be a scam!
Speak with someone already going that route....Do they get a certificate (no cost) showing their coverage? + IF you feel you must sign up for the "Professional Insurance [YIKES]....you could actually be an employee.....another whole ball of wax!
Start by asking the limits of liability. What happens above that loss level? Who is the company agent?
Insist on proof + an insurance quote showing what is being offered / covered and clearly stating that as you pay you are covered.
Seems like a crock I have seen.
