Re: CMTS Issue

When a modem boots up it starts it's search from the low end and goes up, so if it gets any kind of a lock on the first carrier and there is a problem it will get stuck. We have dealt with this a few times due to noise under the carrier. It usually happens after a power outage or on a new install.
