Jerleeb reminded me of something I haven't dealt with in years. If you are using the 2 piece PCP fittings with the spring loaded ferrule, the pin pushes forward when you tighten the connector. You can't tighten the sezure screws until after the cable has been landed or it will bow and hit the housing in the amp. The bigger connectors are worse and if you combine them with C-COR Flexnet gear it wil short every time.
