I started my own LLC 2 years ago working as a contract PC. It's worked out so far. BUT.. talk to an accountant to start. If you started your company according to the state and government, they'll be looking for their money even though you don't have income coming in. If you have 5-6 guys, I would think about taking out a loan to start to cover.
The first few months or year is the toughest as everyone will tell you.
Trying to figure out the paperwork and money, taxes you have to deal with.
