Re: Question about stray voltage.

First you should discharge the plant.  All power supplies AC or DC can store voltage to some degree.  You could have some inducted AC voltage that proper grounding should resolve.  You should not have more than 1 VAC and 0 VDC on the sheath and/or center conductor with power pulled.  Make sure you use a good bond to ground while checking.  UG cable that is not bonded has greater risk of inducted foreign/stray voltage and this can be compounded by conduit.  Use your FVD before and after you pull passives and actives because you could loose sheath ground.  Use any and all test points available to you.  Remember,  cable is a closed system for RF,AC, and DC.  If we didn't put it there, it's foreign and should not be there.
