Re: Small job running coax in school?

GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING....

That being said... Measure distances 3 times... have extra cable on hand.. Example: Need 4 boxes, have 6.  Inspect the place BEFORE agreeing... How much trouble to go thru walls, plenum areas, Conduit required?  What type of warranty are they expecting?

Always make provisions to move the cable from one corner of the room to another... seems people are always changing their minds...

using coax - SOLID COPPER ONLY - do not use Copper Clad, it has a fail rate considerably higher than Solid Coopper...

I have run cable Coax & Network for a couple schools and lots of businesses.  There will ALWAYS be something come up that you did not plan for.... Plan for everything.

BUT, on the plus side, if you do a great job and the Admin likes you, you can get quite a bit more work from the district and other sources.

Just my opinion though...
Would Rather Make a Dollar off a Million People, NOT a Million Dollars off one person.
