That kind ot thing was always there.

IF there was a functional reason I would go along....everyone makes money. Where I got off was........here is your route and yes there is a 7:00 PM ETA for your last stop and NO we cannot add more stops to fill your day....just hang out until 7:00 PM. Wearing only shirts that said independent cable contractor was silly other stuff was either arbitrary or expensive.

The BS sneaks up on ya until you discover you have had enough. The wise tech looks around for another gig and then bails out.
