I use the DSAM 6300 with a Trilithic I-Stop. The I-Stop is what makes it easy, it screws into the dustcap port and has a button on the side that when pressed tells you which direction the noise is coming from by whether or not the ingress level on the meter screen drops. By switching from input to output of a tap it tells you if it is that tap or further downstream.
