tom was a superviser in Houston. After we worked there a few weeks a new policy came out. ( YOU HAD TO WEAR A HARD HAT) I was splicing a pole that crossed over a intersate and 65 foot up my hard hat fell off. All I had to do was shink the boots and come down. Tom was standing at the bottom of the pole kicking it (with no hard hat on) demanding I come down and get my hard hat and go back up to finish or be FIRED. I almost droped a pair of nines on him.Pike , paul ,eddie spickett, and I all quit when the new rules ( like no going to breakfest after we showed up at 5:30 am) in my own truck, paying my own way being paid piece work.. I can't take too many rules.
