Routing is one of the biggest issues with both cable & sat installs. It is a major cause of dissatisfaction with customers also. A no call / no show is just bad for all.


Having said that, I can see a backcharge looming in the world of subcontractors. Overbooking a tech and  hoping for the best is a way of life for some offices. There is just a low level of trust based on past practices all over every system.


From my experience, customers will adjust their wait time if they are sure the tech will show up. Overbooked routes just ruin everybody's day. It happens.
