You are going to see the majority of your noise on the lower value taps, not because the higher values don't have it but due to a higher isolation, you should fix/filter it before it is bad enough to be an issue. If you do the node to amp direction you can eliminate some of the legs off the amp and concentrate on what you really need to look at. We have our installer / service guys do an ingress scan from the end of the drop of every house they go to, it has helped in the overall fight against ingress. They whine because it has caused them a little extra work to fix what they found, but they are starting to see how much it affects the system.
