My first MOS in the Army was 31V10, radio repair and communications. We had to learn to send and receive morse code at no less than 17 words a minute before we could move on to second phase. That may not sound like much but if you never did it before it took some time. At my fastest I was able to do 28 WPM, but that was 35 years ago. I still remember most of it.
