Honestly it sounds like you have everything you need and the experience to get the job done. Field View QAM (not the spectrum analyzer view) works well with RPM3000's. Do you have that option on your meter or access via the internet? I like it to find the ones that have a good SNR (>31db) but still have corrected/uncorrected codewords. 37 TX at a 26v is quite the handful for noise if you don't condition the return with EQ's in the plant and/or drop system. Maybe I have it wrong and it's 37 TX at the amp TP's and 43 TX at the 26v? I think you just had an unusual design that was just a matter of time before it gave you issues or it has been an issue from day one.
